Many years back, Rafael Nadal, long before he was “Rafa”, and all of 10 years old!, was playing a tournament in Palma, a city in Spain. Nadal was already a child prodigy by then under the tutelage of his tough coach, Tony Nadal, having won a lot of junior tournaments including the prestigious Balearic islands championship (Balearic islands are an archipelago off eastern Spain) This tournament was in September, just after the summer vacation. Nadal had a real fun time during the vacation with his friends fishing, swimming, playing football etc. but he hadn’t trained much.
